Company's Lined UP For JANUARY
Industrial Interaction:
MAIT has set up a placement division with the purpose of providing assistance and guidance to the students in achieving employment in industry as well as industrial training. The division is also preparing a students and would serve as a resource aid for the representatives of the leading MNCs, Software Companies and other private and public enterprises and assist the students in seeking proper placements for this purpose.
Seminar, symposia and lectures of eminent corporate executives/academicians are organized by the placement division from time to time on the important topic for the benefit of students.
- The institute has conducted seminars on various topics and planning to have collaboration with foreign companies in education and other matters for the mutual benefits of each other. The students are given proper training by the professionals for their personality development.
- The division also arranges faculty development programme and workshop on various topics in management, engineering. The division has also set up entrepreneurship development cell at the college.
Objectives:
- To organize campus interviews for students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India.
- To prepare students to face campus interviews by arranging training in Aptitude tests, group discussions, preparing for technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.
- To arrange industrial visit and In-plant training.
- To promote career counseling by organizing guidance lectures by senior corporate personnel and most importantly by the immediately placed senior students.
Corporate Meet:
A one day “Corporate Meet” was organized by Maharaja Agarsain Institute of Technology (MAIT), NH-24, Pilkhuwa, Ghaziabad at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, Delhi-110003 on 23rd April, 2011. This was the second Corporate Meet organized by MAIT. This was an attempt to seek industry support through corporate meet and to get much needed guidance and mentoring as to what more is to be done to turn MAIT into a vibrant institute while inspiring to emerge as a centre of excellence and research with leadership in higher education with concern for social and human values. This unique corporate meet was attended by large number of corporate leaders from industry like Indo Solar, Crop Health Products Ltd, Kent RO, Bennet Coleman & Company (Times of India), Applied Electromagnetic Pvt. Ltd, Hema Engineering Industries Ltd, Fiserv India Pvt. Ltd., Rsystems International Ltd, Barco Electronics, Partner Solar Electronics Ltd, Alma mate Infotech, IFS Solution India Pvt Ltd, Haier Appliances India Pvt Ltd etc as well as eminence people from academia from the field of technology and management.
In the beginning, Mr. Vibhu Bansal, Treasurer-MAIT welcomed the guests. A brief introduction of the college was conducted by two students (Ms. Smriti and Mr. Nitin) of B.Tech by organizing a virtual tour of the entire college. This was followed by self introduction of the delegates. Mr. Alok Agrawal (Chairman-Steering Committee-MAIT) mentioned about the mission and vision of the college. The members from the corporate expressed their happiness and pleasure for being associated with such type of function. They shared their ideas based on their experiences and observations and looked forward for a close and lasting relationship with this institution.
